Friday, after work, Hub and I headed to Northwest Arkansas to watch the Naturals baseball game with our friends. Although it was a slow game -- only one point scored total -- our team won. We love baseball, and I loved being outdoors for a change.
Afterward, we enjoyed the fireworks show, which was as much worth the price of a ticket as the game. Even little Firecracker (yes, that's her nickname) enjoyed it. Her expressions with every BANG were adorable.
Saturday morning we all woke up a little later than usual, which was much appreciated, and then went to the Farmer's Market. It was one of the nicest markets I have seen, despite the hot weather. It was difficult not to buy every vegetable in sight. I was amazed that Baby Firecracker didn't complain even once. Such a good baby! We had a yummy lunch at Rick's bakery -- look at those tiny cakes! awesome! -- and then went back to the house to enjoy some happy (air conditioned) time.

I didn't take any more pictures but Hub and I enjoyed a lazy Saturday evening at home together. It was the first lazy time we've had together in a while. We also spent a wonderful Sunday together sleeping, eating, laughing, watching TV, listening to music, grocery shopping, cooking dinner, and planning meals for the week. (We've decided to try pre-planning our meals this week in an attempt to save time and frustration.)
I am so grateful we had this weekend together, even though the house is still dusty. (Who cares anyway, right?) I am grateful to have such awesome friends, who have adorable babies, in my life. And I am grateful to have such a wonderful man by my side. It makes all the hard times seem less intimidating.

It was a great weekend! We loved spending time with you guys!
