Bright lights and junk food were calling

 

Hub took me to the Arkansas/Oklahoma State Fair last night. We arrived just before dark, walked through the barns of animals, watched a high diver jump into a pool of water, oo-ed and aw-ed through the exhibits of arts and crafts and business booths, shared a funnel cake covered in strawberry cream, and enjoyed the sites. I wanted to ride the Ferris Wheel, but the line was forever long so we took pictures instead and talked about all the different types of people we saw.

 

I've always enjoyed going to the Fair. Though I've been to many of them, I like to see how it changes and how it remains the same from place to place and year to year. Hub likes it, too, but most importantly, he is a good enough man to indulge my curiosities for bright lights and junk food.
